Hello Readers!
Today for Worship Track we were giving the opportunity to do some outreach/evangelism in the city of Gainesville, GA. Our class went to the town square. We split up into three groups. Some went to the square and drew on the sidewalks with chalk. Some went around town and prayed with pastors. And some of us (Dillon & I) went to a place called Rooster’s Perch. While there, we taught a cooking class to adults with special needs.
The owners name is Marty. Here is a blurb about Rooster’s Perch from their website:
“A ministry that equips individuals with disabilities with new skills and friendships so that they may enjoy success and self-advocacy. Our goal is to help individuals achieve a goal of independence and self worth.” For more information, please check out their website: http://www.randyandfriends.org/
Below are several pictures from our morning out on the town! Enjoy!
